Elective 3D/4D Ultrasound

If you plan on having a 3D/4D ultrasound examination, we would recommend having the examination performed between the 25th and 32nd week of the pregnancy.

Our sonographer will spend 30 minutes attempting to obtain good quality 3D/4D images of your baby. Upon the sonographer's discretion, one additional 30 minute session can be scheduled on a different day if the fetus was not in an optimal position to capture images. If the fetus is still in a sub optimal position, it will be up to the parent(s) to decide to pay another fee for further tries.

*3D/4D Ultrasounds are not covered by insurance. Since this is an elective procedure and is not intended to be a replacement for your doctor ordered ultrasound, you will need to pay the cost of this ultrasound as an out-of-pocket expense.

3D/4D Ultrasound with optional gender determination (30 minutes) - $100.00
* Limited 3D/4D ultrasound of anatomy (includes gender if desired)
* 3D paper pictures in color
* CD with still 3D images and 4D clips
* If fetus is in sub optimal position and quality images cannot be obtained, a second 30 minutes scan may be scheduled for another day. **UPON SONOGRAPHERS DISCRETION** at no charge. Any attempts after that will require the $100 fee.

Essure®

If you are sure you don't want anymore children and are tired of using temporary birth control, Essure was created for you.

What is Essure?  The Essure procedure is a sterilization procedure for women.  Essure is inserted vaginally by a trained gynecologist using a visually guided method called hysteroscopy.  A micro-insert is placed in each fallopian tube, where the body and the micro-insert work together to form a biological blockage that prevents sperm from reaching the egg.

Unlike tubal ligation (having your tubes tied) or vasectomy, the Essure procedure requires no incisions and is typically done without general anesthesia.  In clinical trials, the average time spent using a hysterscope to place micro-inserts into the fallopian tube was 15 minutes.  The total procedure time was about 30 minutes, and most women were able to leave the facility 45 minutes after the procedure.

The Essure procedure is designed to provide permanent birth control and is not expected to be reversible, so be sure that permanent birth control is the right decision for you.

T.O.T. Sling

An Effective Solution for Urinary Stress Incontinence Approximately 85% of all women in childbearing years and beyond experience some degree of stress urinary incontinence.  This leakage, which often occurs with coughing, laughing, sneezing, running or jumping is not only embarrassing but also tends to prohibit many activities of today's active woman.

The new T.O.T. is inserted vaginally in a ten minute outpatient surgery.  Patients generally leave the outpatient facility in a few hours.

Several improvements in the procedure and the technology indicate that the T.O.T. sling is the method of choice.

The new T.O.T. sling is attached underneath the pubic bone.  After approximately 90 days of healing and the formation of supportive scar tissue, the central portion of the T.O.T. will have dissolved into the body.
